Valeria Gaona

Valeria began her professional studies at the music and dance initiation school at the Ollin Yoliztli Cultural Center and later entered the National Ballet School of Cuba where she graduated as a dancer and teacher in 2009. As part of her training, she has taken various courses in Mexico and abroad in contemporary dance, ballroom, folk dance, and character dances.
As a dancer, she was part of 2 of the most important companies in México, the Monterrey Ballet, and the National Dance Company as an apprentice. She has performed with the Mazatlan Classical Ballet, UNAM production, La Bella Durmiente in the Chapultepec castle, obtaining roles as a soloist, and Romeo and Juliet from the infinite company, as well as other independent projects.
From 2013 to 2016 she was a resident choreographer and teacher at the first acrobatic gymnastics team in Mexico based in the Sirius gym and was in charge of the choreographic assembly of routines for competitions in Puerto Rico, the USA, Colombia, Poland, etc.
In 2017, she was part of the winning choreography of the INBA-UAM national choreography award, at the Palace of Fine Arts, serving as a dancer and producer. That same year she was in charge of the artistic direction of the show “the circus of your life” by Jorge Bucay in the national auditorium.
She is also a teacher certified by the American Ballet Theater in NYC and a certified teacher at the GYROTONIC expansion system.
At the end of 2014, she joined RÊVES AGENCY, first as a dancer and later as a choreographer and Artistic Advisor for campaigns of various well-known brands and various projects for film and television. To date, she has carried out more than 20 advertising campaigns as a choreographer, assistant, or dancer for various brands such as:
