Belén is a classically trained cellist interested in exploring the sonic possibilities of her instrument through interdisciplinary projects, as well as improvisation and electronic media.
She has been invited to artistic residencies in Mexico, Belgium and Spain. She has been part of chamber ensembles and groups such as Santa Sabina and Gone Under Sea. She has also played with singers Carlos Rivera, Ed Maverick, among others.
She is currently a member of the Reversi Quartet, the 24 Cuadros Orchestra and the Mágisses group. She is part of the cast of the play Siete Veces Adiós as well as the Tsunami Collective and is preparing her solo project.
