Bryan graduated from the Royal Academy of Dance, National School of Dance of Ecuador, in classical dance studies. He has a certification in Classic Pilates. He has received recognition in: Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Colombia, among others, for spreading the culture of his country. Basantes has worked under the direction of stars and leading dance figures and choreographers: Jorge Vega, Aurora Vázquez, Diego Basantes, Yaroslav Villafuentes, Rubén Guarderas, Jorge Alcolea, Tania Pérez-Salas, Saro Silva, Mónica Barragán, Benjamín Briones, Marco Antonio Silva, to mention a few.
He has worked for the National Dance Company of Ecuador, Tania Pérez- Salas CIA, CEPRODAC (Co-production with Fine Arts Soloist Ensemble), Young Ballet of Cannes (Co-production France-Mexico, National Symphony, MexHabana Danza, Cantares de Mexico).
He has worked with the first actor Mario Iván Martínez. He is currently a dancer at Convexus CIA and Ballet de la CDMX, CONVEXUS contemporary ballet.
Together with Rêves Agency, he has done commercials for Televisa, ALLIANZ Seguros, among others, and events for companies such as Palacio de Hierro, and has danced in feature films such as Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu’s Bardo and the musical film La Usurpadora.
