Cecilia graduated in Classical Dance from the INBA Mexican Dance Academy and is a certified Pilates instructor by STTOT PILATES. A scholarship holder for Miami City Ballet and Teatro Colón, she has 20 years of experience in different styles: ballet, contemporary, jazz, tango, Mexican folklore, Latin rhythms, ballroom dancing, urban styles, singing and acting. Her tenacity has led her to perform as a soloist within renowned companies in Mexico such as the National Opera Company, sharing the stage with great directors such as Arturo Diemecke, UNAM Choreographic Workshop, Mexico City Ballet, ArTaller, Rissing Arts. She has given life to various main roles such as Odile, Odette in the ballet Lake of the Swans, Cinderella, The Little Bird in the Ballet Pedro and El Lobo, Medora in the Ballet El Corsario, to name a few.
Her extensive range of styles has led her to work alongside great entertainment artists, including Ricky Martin and the Black Eyes Peas. She participated as a dancer in commercials with renowned choreographers such as Nina McNeely who choreographed the movie Climax and Grammy-winning video clips with Residente. she also participated in international films such as “Spectre: 007 James Bond”, “La Usurpadora” by Santiago Limón and TVShows such as LaVoz and La Academia. She currently resides in Mexico City where she assists and choreographs films within Rêves Agency with directors such as Alejandro González Iñárritu and Manolo Caro. She has performed on the biggest stages in Mexico, Colombia and Las Vegas, premiering the first Mexican Show in Las Vegas Nevada at the Planet Hollywood Hotel.
