Originally from Mexico City. He is a multidisciplinary artist, contemporary dancer, choreographer, photographer, and artistic director. His work combines movement, performance, photography, and film studying the limitless potential of the human being and his connection to the earth. The search for freedom, distance, and the notion of self are ideas that César constantly studies. He does it through artistic practices that he has discovered, implementing them in his daily life.
From 2014 to 2018 César resided in New York where he graduated with honors from the Peridance Capezio Center Contemporary and Classical Dance Certificate Program. While in New York City, he worked with a variety of artists and companies, including Andrea Miller’s Gallim Dance.
From 2018 to 2022 he resides in Tel Aviv where he worked as the first Mexican in one of the most internationally recognized dance companies ‘Batsheva Dance Company’- The Batsheva Ensemble where he has danced repertoire by Ohad Naharin, Sharon Eyal, Noa Zuk, Bobbi Jenne & Or Schraiber. Brodermann developed 5 creative processes within the Batsheva Dancers Create program. César is the only Mexican teacher certified in GAGA (the language of movement created by Ohad Naharin).
His choreographic work has been presented at international festivals such as the Lila López Festival in San Luis Potosí, the FIDCDMX in Mexico City within the Esperanza Iris City Theater, INSITU Dance Festival in New York, New Blue Dance Festival in Toronto and has presented his most recent creation BORDERLINE at the Suzanne Dellal Center in Israel, Tel Aviv.
He currently resides between Mexico City and Tel Aviv, continually creating and presenting his work internationally and creating bridges so that others can cross and cross boundaries and borders.
