César López is a multidisciplinary artist born in Bogotá, Colombia, and based in Mexico for the past eight years. He holds a degree in Performing Arts from the University of Guadalajara and has collaborated with the Arrogante Albino laboratory since 2022.
His artistic practice explores the body through dance, theater, and performance, integrating disciplines such as taekwondo, pilates, and yoga. He co-directs the body research laboratory El Cuerpo Dichoso alongside performer and activist Natalia Martínez Mejía, a project presented in spaces such as the International Dance Festival (FID) in Guadalajara, Hamburg, and the Extramuros 2025 program.
His recent work includes Kiss and Yet Untitled by Tino Sehgal at the Museo de Arte de Zapopan, Lemniskata by Lukas Avendaño presented across Europe and Mexico, the durational performance Moby Dick or The White Whale, his role as a dancer in the film La Usurpadora: The Musical, and TikTacToK by Nicola Zaucedo.
He has also appeared in campaigns for Jumex and Grupo Modelo, hosted the web series Acortemos Distancias, and worked as choreographer for the show Alma at the theme park Calaverandia.
