Liliana Soto is a multifaceted dancer from Sinaloa specialized in classical dance.
During her formative years in Mexico, she graduated from the Royal Academy of Dance system and later traveled to the US to complete her training at the Atlanta Ballet Center for Dance Education. She was also part of a Mexican folk dance ensemble where she competed and won local and state awards in Sinaloa.
She was part of the Jalisco Ballet under the direction of Maestro Dariusz Blajer for seven years. During her career she had the opportunity to dance both corps de ballet roles and soloists, and one of her greatest achievements was working with Canadian choreographer Mark Godden for his version and world premiere of the ballet Carmen as an original cast.
She has stepped on some of the most important stages in Mexico and has participated as a dancer in renowned cultural festivals such as the Cervantino Festival in Guanajuato, Mexico and the Mayan Cultural Festival in Yucatan. Her aesthetics, charisma and natural elegance have led her to work as a dancer and choreography assistant for film and television, and she is currently enjoying her experimentation process as a dancer in other dance disciplines, loving and admiring dance in all its forms and colors.
