Originally from the warm state of Sinaloa, from a very young age, Lily showed great interest in ballet. That is why, at a very early age, she began her dance studies in her native Culiacán, moving shortly after to the country’s capital in order to enter the School of Classical and Contemporary Dance of Fine Arts, from which she graduated as classic ballerina.
In 2001 she won a scholarship to study in France for a year, an experience that would change her life completely, strengthening her love and passion for dance but, above all, her commitment.
A few years later, she joined the most important ballet company in Mexico – The National Dance Company -, where she danced the famous classical repertoire that includes: The Nutcracker, Giselle, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty, among many others. She was also part of the Monterrey Ballet and has worked alongside great choreographers such as Bernardo Benítez, among others.
With almost an entire life dedicated to dance, she is currently still active and is part of the cast of the Black Swan, a production of the Infinita Company as well as artistic director of Legat Dance Studio.
