Marisol Cal y Mayor is the choreographer and director of Altagracia. He has worked for fashion performances for festivals (MXFFF and ASVOFF), theater, opera, series, cinema (Valentina’s Wedding, Where the birds go to die), advertising (Palacio de Hierro, Sabritas), and video clips (Ana Torroja, Moenia , Hello Seahorse, Promiseland, Titan).
He obtained the FONCA Jóvenes Creadores 2014 scholarship as well as in 2017. His dance work has been presented in the main venues of the country and selected in national and foreign festivals, such as the Palacio de Bellas Artes, Museo Universitario del Chopo, Teatro de la Ciudad, Teatro Hellenic, La Teatrería, Tonalá Cinema, Legaria Theater, Onésimo González Festival, Casa del Lago, Spain Cultural Center, Tamayo Museum. She has been invited to develop her work in the residences Compota (Portugal), Arteles (Finland), Dedazo (Mexico) and Kultursciok! (Italy).
