Priscila Hernández CHOREOGRAPHER

Priscila Hernández, choreographer for Academy Award winner Sam Mendes’ ‘James Bond-Spectre’, for Academy Award winner Alejandro González Iñarritu’s most recent epic film ‘Bardo’ (winner of several awards, including one at the Venice Film Festival), and for the Spotify Awards in Mexico.

She began her Classical Ballet studies at the National School of Classical and Contemporary Dance in Mexico City and finished her training as a ballerina and Classical Ballet instructor at The Cuban National Ballet School, in Havana.
After graduation she successfully pursued her career as a dancer and became a member of Mexico’s National Company of Dance, specializing in classical and neo-classical ballet while performing mostly at the Palacio de Bellas Artes and at the National Auditorium in Mexico City.

She has worked hand in hand with Alejandro Jodorowsky and Cristobal Jodorowsky as a choreographer and also as a talent recruiter and manager for the montage of Chilean-French artist Adanowsky’s performances at Lunario and at the Metropolitan Theater.
She later became a member of the Opus Ballet company with which she traveled to Poland to perform “AQUA” as part of the dance and theater festival in Warsaw. Parallel to her artistic career, she attended classes at the Broadway Dance Center in New York, and at the Berlin Opera as well as Steps on Broadway.

She provided talent to perform in Los Angeles for the Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez show “¡Q’ viva the chosen ones!” through her newly created Agency: Rêves.

Rêves has recently developed the choreography and provided the cast of the video clips “Banana Papaya” of the Puerto Rican artist Rene of Calle Trece, directed by Rene, “Que se sienta el deseo” of the Puerto Rican artist Wisin and Ricky Martin, directed by Jessy Terreros, “Nunca es suficiente” and “Danza de Gardenias” of the Mexican artist Natalia Lafourcade and “Mouthful of Wasps” of the Danish band Kashmir.

The last important project she made, was the choreography for the Sony Pictures, James Bond “Spectre”, directed by Sam Mendes, in which she also provided 90 dancers for the movie as an agency.

She also worked with the director Mauro Fiore on the campaign of “Jafra” as a Choreographer and with Mike Mills on the campaign of “Invesco”.

Recently she choreographed two movies with Lions Gate, “Desperados” and “Barb and Star”, she also worked on the 3D short film thesis of Rosana Cuellar, “When I was immortal”, where Wim Wenders helped her as a guide during all the process in HFBK, Hochschule dür bildende Künste Hamburg. She also was the choreographer for the film “3 idiotas”, directed by Carlos Bolado, and the film “No manches Frida 2” directed by Nacho Velilla.

Rêves Agency has participated in several launch events and parades. Rêves Agency choreographed the last 3 “Day of the Dead” parades with more than 2000 volunteers, viral campaigns, video clips and flash mobs in Mexico City and the rest of Mexico and is the number one agency for artistic representation of dancers and acrobats in the fields of Advertising and Cinema in the country.

Priscila Choreographed the Video-Dance “Uthica” of the Orquesta 24 Cuadros, and the video was selected for the Selection of the “Dance on Camara Festival 2018” at the Lincoln Center in New York, US. She also made the casting for Internationals campaigns for Sony and Coca Cola Company.

She also joined the company Producción UNAM and worked with nationally and internationally renowned choreographers Mark Godden (Canada) and Katia Garza (Mexico/USA).

She created RÊVES AGENCY hoping to vindicate the value of dancers and performers, thus boosting the power of the art within the culture and the advertising world.
