Ricardo Urbina, a graduate of Idyllwild Arts Academy, where they were awarded the John and Lilian outstanding artist award, and John Neumeier’s Hamburg Ballet School in Germany, has participated in numerous classical dance competitions such as the Tenth National Children’s Ballet Competition and youth, obtaining study scholarships and work opportunities abroad such as Miami City Ballet, New York City, American Ballet Theater, Joffrey Chicago, Winnipeg Royal Ballet, Bundesjugendballett, Hamburg Ballet and Ballet Kiel. Ricardo has had the opportunity to work with choreographers with great careers such as John Neumeier, Kevin Haigen, Raymond Hilbert, Marco Goecke, Sara Collier, Migdalia Montero, Luis López, Natalia Horecna, Wubjke Kuindersma, Paxton Ricketts, Demis Volpi, Sebastian Kloborg, Christopher Wheeldon, Marijin Radenaker, Andrey Kaydanovskiy, just to name a few. Ricardo has had the opportunity to create choreographies for the young German company Bundesjugendballett, which have been presented on various stages in Germany and internationally. Ricardo is one of the founders of the artistic collective House of Brownies, which provides platforms to marginalized communities and always seeks the growth and autonomy of human beings as artists.
