Zaira is a Mexican singer and songwriter with over 20 years of experience. She has performed in a large number of venues in Mexico and abroad, ranging from the capital’s Zócalo, the Degollado Theater in Guadalajara, to the Palace of Arts in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, or the Garcia de Resende theater in the Portuguese city Evora.
An active performer in Mexico City, she has showcased her voice in various countries in Latin America and Europe. She is an artist closely linked to the literary and poetic movement, also taking part in literary festivals. One of them was the “Festival of Literature to the Sea”, in the Colombian Guajira, as well as the “Havana International Poetry Festival”.
A multi-talented performer, she is also part of other bands such as COMBO MOVOX, alongside Señor González of Botellita de Jerez, singing jazz alongside the legendary Francisco Téllez.
She is currently part of the female choir “El Palomar”, as well as the “24 Cuadros” Orchestra and “Las Unicornio”. She is also a resident singer of the Zinco Jazz Club.
