Mika Kubo began her artistic journey on stage at the age of six. Her passion for storytelling and connecting through movement led her to delve into a variety of dance styles at a young age, and had training in gymnastics and martial arts. Driven by her curiosity for intersectionality and her commitment to breaking stereotypes, she became the first Japanese-Mexican actor to appear as a recurring guest in Telemundo for her role in La Suerte de Loli.

Her continuous search for new mediums of human expression led her to the VoiceOver world – where she’s had the opportunity to collaborate on projects for Pixar, Netflix and Disney+ dubbing in both English and Spanish. Some of her additional television credits include Apple TV’s first Spanish speaking series: Familia de Media Noche, Travesuras de La Niña Mala and an upcoming Mexican comedy series in collaboration with Spain.

She’s thrilled to have worked under the direction of renowned directors Travis Knight, Karena Evans and most recently Zoe Kravitz, as well as choreographers: Sherry Silver and Tia Rivera.
